Job Description
Cragun's Resort on beautiful Gull Lake is seeking an energetic and reliable Barback to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hospitality experience and contribute to unforgettable guest experiences.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Restock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and supplies throughout shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, coolers, storage rooms, and service stations
- Remove empty bottles, trash, and used glassware promptly
- Wash and polish glassware and bar equipment as needed
- Assist bartenders with opening and closing duties
- Refill ice bins and monitor inventory levels during service
- Support bartenders in delivering fast and friendly guest service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events, banquets, or special functions
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and coworkers
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds or more
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service as required by state law
