Job Description

Title: Bartender

We are looking for fun, outgoing, and creative individuals to provide high-level bar service to our members and their guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet and engage with members and guests in a friendly, approachable manner.
Maintain a positive and energetic attitude while working as part of a team.
Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies.
Request and stock additional supplies as needed.
Prepare garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening.
Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved standard recipes.
Serve drinks to guests seated at lounge tables when beverage servers are not available.
Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment.
Keep accurate records of liquors, beers, and wines to ensure stock is maintained.
Follow closing procedures to clean and secure the bar area.
Store, label, date, and rotate food items properly to prevent spoilage and health hazards.
Attend staff meetings, including pre-shift sessions and training.
Comply with all laws and club policies regarding alcohol service and report any concerns to management.
Follow beverage and revenue control procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Bar Manager and Director of Food and Beverage.

Knowledge of craft beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation.

Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
Capable of working at both large and small events with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Proof of Hepatitis A vaccination required.
State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) certificate required if of legal age to serve.

Working Conditions:

Restaurant environment that may be hot, humid, and noisy.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist.
Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
Perform continuous repetitive motions.

Employment Status: Full-time or part-time positions available.

Salary: Non-exempt, hourly pay.

Candidates must possess outstanding customer service skills and a creative, outgoing personality. A Hepatitis A vaccination and a State of Missouri Alcohol Responsibility Training (SMART) certificate are required.
