Summary: Under general supervision, the Lead Bartender is responsible for opening and closing the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures. This role maintains the food prep and bar areas in a clean, well-organized manner while serving and assisting guests. The team member must uphold a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote Drury's culture with customers and fellow team members. General knowledge of the hotel, area, and events is required to answer guest questions.

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older
Minimum one year bartending experience required; two or more years bartending and supervisory experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of college preferred
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions in English and communicate effectively
Skilled in mixing and serving a variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
Capable of performing bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other duties as needed
Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications per company policies
Proficient in handling money, making change, and using office machines
Able to operate equipment such as cash registers, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
Professional demeanor to handle difficult situations with guests and team members
Able to open and close the bar, obtain necessary supplies, and maintain cleanliness
Ability to distinguish currency denominations and make accurate change
