Job Description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Bartender for the DoubleTree by Hilton in Billings, Montana.

Job Purpose: The Bartender is often a social point of contact and lasting impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us.

Responsibilities:

Provide enthusiastic, helpful, and positive service to guests.
Prepare and serve drinks according to health and safety standards.
Assist servers, other bartenders, and bar porters when necessary.
Maintain professionalism, responsibility, and positive conduct.
Communicate effectively with all departments and openly accept feedback.
Be available to assist other departments during emergencies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with hospitality industry standards (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt).
Strong knowledge of drink preparation and applicable health regulations.
Familiarity with federal, state, and local alcohol service laws.
Certifications in Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to operate all related equipment (e.g., coffee maker, cash terminal).
Physical ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours, lift trays up to 30 lbs regularly, and lift or push items up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Ability to work in various temperature conditions, including freezers and kitchens.
Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and perform cleaning tasks.
