Job Description
Title: Bartender
Location: Bozeman, MT 59718 Position Type: Part Time Salary: $12.00 Hourly Department: Bar 72 Reports to: Restaurant Managers, Other Department Managers
General Purpose: Prepare and serve beverages following established standards with professionalism and hospitality. Create memorable guest experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.
Essential Duties:
- Stock the bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control
- Assist department leaders with seasonal cocktail creation and menu development
- Maintain inventory control; communicate promptly with management when supplies are needed
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and company procedures
- Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
- Responsibly serve alcohol; cut off guests when necessary
- Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and restocking
- Manage member transactions using the Point of Sales system
- Review schedule changes, calendar, and special events
- Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
- Incorporate safe work practices
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance with a positive and friendly attitude
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Availability for a minimum of three shifts per week, including at least one shift Sunday-Tuesday (serving shifts)
- ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
