Title: Part-time Weekend Barback

Location: Bozeman, Montana

Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt Reports to: Food & Beverage Director

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour

Job Summary: The Barback supports bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area to ensure smooth and efficient service. Responsibilities include replenishing supplies, preparing garnishes, managing waste, and assisting with beverage preparation during busy periods.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Restock bar supplies including liquor, mixers, glassware, and ice bins.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by wiping surfaces and washing tools and equipment.
Prepare fresh garnishes and ensure their availability for bartenders.
Remove and dispose of trash and empty bottles throughout the shift.
Organize and stock beverage storage areas properly.
Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar for service.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Bar Manager or Supervisor.
Respond promptly to bartender requests to ensure uninterrupted service.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoor work in a fast-paced bar setting.
Frequent standing and walking required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
