Job Description
Title: Bartender
We are seeking a Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will take customer orders, make drink recommendations, prepare a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, and maintain a clean and inviting bar area. During slow periods, you may also assist with basic cooking duties. A cook will be on staff during busy shifts. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and holds a ServeSafe certification (which we will pay for).
Responsibilities:
- Take drink and food orders
- Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and comply with all state and federal laws regarding alcohol and tobacco sales
- Collect payments and operate the cash register
- Order, maintain, and restock bar supplies and ingredients
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred
- Mixology or hospitality certification preferred but not required
- Must have ServeSafe certification
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
