The Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula, Montana is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our hospitality team. This six-story, 146-key hotel features a full-service restaurant and 22,000 square feet of meeting space, making it the second largest conference center in the state.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes
Serve wine and draft or bottled beer
Order and replenish liquors and supplies
Arrange bottled goods and glasses attractively
Prepare garnishes by slicing and pitting fruit
Prepare appetizers when required
Conduct monthly inventory
Maintain cleanliness of bar area
Comply with company policies, safety, and all federal, state, and local laws
Recognize valid in-state and out-of-state identification for age verification
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service
Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests and complaints
Maintain a positive image and adhere to brand standards
Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Previous bartending experience required
TIPS and TABC certifications mandatory
Knowledge of food service regulations
Ability to mix common cocktails
Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to speak, read, and write proficient English; additional languages a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work mostly indoors with moderate temperatures
Standing and walking for up to an 8-hour shift or longer
Occasional crouching, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and finger dexterity required
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally
Exposure to varying noise levels, weather conditions, and chemicals

OTHER

Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Consistent attendance required
Participation in training and meetings
