BARTENDER

Carroll Hospitality, a subsidiary of The Carroll Companies, manages daily operations at the Hyatt Place Greensboro Downtown. JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced bartenders to provide friendly and professional service. Qualified candidates will create classic and innovative drinks that exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

Plan and present the bar menu; take accurate orders and provide high-quality service.
Verify identification in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Occasionally assist with cooking on an as-needed basis.
Assess guest needs and preferences, making recommendations as appropriate.
Handle payments, balance receipts, and run reports following hotel policies.
Manage, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
Ensure a guest-focused environment to nurture an excellent guest experience.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years bartending experience; hotel/hospitality experience preferred.
Trustworthy, punctual, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
Strong verbal, written, and reading English communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to bend, kneel, walk, and lift 30+ pounds.
