Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender to join our upscale rooftop bar team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality cocktails, efficient service, and a strong understanding of hospitality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains attention to detail, and creates a welcoming, elevated atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
- Provide attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
- Execute cocktails consistently, including house recipes and seasonal menu items
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately
- Restock and prep bar ingredients, garnishes, and glassware as needed
- Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and management to ensure smooth service
- Uphold all ABC laws, health regulations, and company standards
Qualifications:
- 1–2+ years bartending experience preferred, especially in upscale or high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 21+ and able to obtain any required certifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in hotel or rooftop bar settings
- Knowledge of craft cocktails and seasonal menu execution
- Ability to upsell and enhance guest experience
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs (kegs, cases, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
