Title: Banquet Bartender

The Banquet Bartender provides friendly, responsive alcoholic beverage service to create an exceptional bar experience for all members and guests. Acting as a Brand Ambassador for the Rumbling Bald community, the Banquet Bartender sets the standard of excellence in service and product knowledge.

Essential Job Duties:

Greet guests courteously, take orders, and offer beverage recommendations.
Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications.
Comply with ABC Laws and Regulations, including securing alcoholic beverages after hours.
Read, interpret, and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Operate Point of Sale systems according to company standards.
Assist with event setup, including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, and preparing drinks.
Assist with food service by transporting food from the kitchen, serving, and clearing tables.
Assist with event breakdown involving clearing tables, handling linen and centerpieces, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
Prepare condiments, brew coffee or tea, and maintain stocked workstations.
Maintain awareness of safety issues such as broken glass, electrical hazards, leaks, and intoxicated persons.
Provide leadership among banquet staff and maintain professionalism during high-volume events.
Offer general property information and a warm welcome and farewell to all guests.

Requirements:

One year of bartending experience or six months in a related hospitality role.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Endure long periods of sitting, standing, or walking in hot, humid environments.
Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Perform movements such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and manual handling.
Maintain high standards of personal grooming.
Drive a vehicle as required by job duties.
