Title: Banquet Bartender

Location: Snowbird Resort, Salt Lake City, Utah

Status: On-call, Seasonal

Schedule: Shifts vary based on business needs

Summary: The Banquet Bartender provides quality service and consistent, high-quality drinks for guests at banquet events, exceeding expectations. Responsible for making and serving alcoholic beverages while maintaining a clean and efficient work station.

Responsibilities:

Report to work on time in proper uniform and obey all company rules and regulations.
Prepare assigned station, assist others if needed, and complete daily duties before and after shifts to maintain appearance and cleanliness.
Greet and inform guests of specials and prepare drinks as ordered.
Anticipate guest needs and keep tables and bar areas neat throughout service.
Serve alcohol in compliance with State Alcohol laws and regulations.
Maintain sanitation and follow safety practices for employees and guests.
Treat guests and employees with respect; respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and company standards.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of bartending experience with demonstrated competence.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Food Handler Permit, Tips Certification, and Sheriff Work Card required.
Competency in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Ability to learn menus, recipes, and wine lists.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to organize and transport fragile items.

Working Conditions:

Shifts may include mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business demands.
May experience stress due to high volume, deadlines, public interaction, winter conditions, and commute to Snowbird.
Must be able to lift 25+ lbs, carry trays, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions (bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp).
