Job Title: Bartender

Location: 506 Pub - Inside Hugos Pure Market, Demers Ave, Grand Forks, ND 58203 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $11.00 - $12.00 Hourly

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older to apply.
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic customer service and cash handling skills.
Previous bartending or mixology experience preferred.
Bartending school or mixology courses preferred.

Job Purpose: The Bartender at 506 Pub is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by preparing and serving beverages, taking orders, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all patrons. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized bar, handling payments, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences.
Take customer orders and provide excellent service to ensure a positive experience.
Verify customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Restock bar supplies and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
Handle cash and operate POS systems accurately for payment processing.
Monitor customer behavior to ensure safety and prevent overconsumption.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth bar operations and resolve issues promptly.
Utilize upselling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase revenue.
Continuously improve knowledge of drinks, mixology, and industry trends.
