Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of mixology, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming and high-quality experience for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be a key part of our front-of-house operations, crafting exceptional drinks and contributing to the success of our bar and restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, specialty drinks, wine, and beer with speed and precision.
- Interact with guests professionally, friendly, and timely, taking drink orders and offering recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, tools, and storage, complying with sanitation standards.
- Manage transactions using the Toast POS system, handling cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Monitor and restock inventory of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; report shortages to management.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws regarding alcohol sales, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Assist in developing new cocktail menus and specials by contributing creative and profitable ideas.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting is required.
- Expert knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills focused on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess all necessary certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Background in inventory management or cocktail development is a plus.
