Title: Bartender (Part Time)

Location: New England College, 98 Bridge Street, Henniker, NH 03242

We are hiring immediately for part-time Bartender positions. Online applications only.

Schedule: Part-time, Thursday through Saturday, hours may vary. More details provided during the interview.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Requirements:

Prior bartending experience is required.
Ability to verify identification and manage guest inebriation according to state and federal laws.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
Adhere to all liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars; stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock and prepare fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and control portions.
Check guests’ identification.
Detect and address guest intoxication as trained.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, and record sales.
Secure all beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash at closing.
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards.
Arrange bottles and glassware attractively.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
