POSITION PROFILE Responsible for set-up, mixing drinks, service, and clean-up of the bar area while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and maintaining company standards and profit maximization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures, and safety controls.
Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Check customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age.
Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credit and room charges according to company policies.
Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
Know and comply with state liquor laws; obtain TIPS certification.
Ensure established inventory pars are maintained.
Perform all side work duties according to schedules.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Three to six months experience in food and beverage service.
Ability to clearly see guest checks, computer printouts, written instructions, and observe the restaurant in dim lighting.
Able to mix cocktails correctly and provide wine service.
Manual coordination to operate equipment, carry trays balanced with food and beverages.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to lift, push, and carry 20 to 40 lbs.
Stand continuously for long periods.
Communicate effectively with management, staff, and guests.
