Title: Bartender

Location: Adas Wine Bar - Las Vegas, NV 89145 Position Type: Part-Time Salary: $12.00 per hour Shift: Any

Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by mixing ingredients to create classic and innovative drinks according to guest preferences. Providing friendly, attentive, and timely service is essential to delivering an exceptional experience to all guests.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests and take beverage orders
Prepare and serve drinks accurately using standard recipes
Mix, garnish, and present drinks attractively
Use POS systems to process orders and payments
Accept guest payments and handle cash register transactions
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including floors, counters, utensils, and shelves
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Balance cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
Answer guests' questions and make drink recommendations
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of food and beverage service experience
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and standard drink recipes
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional guest service and communication skills (verbal and written)
Basic math skills, including handling money and operating POS systems
Professional presentation and positive attitude
Must be at least 21 years old
High school diploma or GED required
Valid Sheriff’s card and/or required work cards

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for prolonged periods and traverse all restaurant areas quickly
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with assistance if heavier)
Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and reach overhead or below knees
Ability to work in walk-in refrigerators and freezers ranging from 40°F to -10°F
Visual ability to read small print and inspect tools and equipment
