Job Description
LV Petroleum is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bartender to join our restaurant team located in West Wendover. The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through expertly crafted beverages, attentive service, and maintaining a vibrant bar atmosphere in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain full knowledge of menu offerings, including cocktails, wine, beer, and food pairings.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Accurately process orders using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions responsibly.
- Monitor guest consumption and comply with all alcohol service laws and responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory and restocking.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or casino/hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Nevada TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Card required.
- Food Handler Safety Certification preferred.
