Title: BARTENDER (SEASONAL)

Location: CIA Catering - 1946 Campus Drive, Hyde Park, NY 12538. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Seasonal; days and hours may vary. Weekend and night availability is required. More details provided at interview.

Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour.

Requirements:

One to two years of bartending experience.
Availability to work weekends and nights.

Job Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to liquor laws regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars and stock all beverages, supplies, glassware, and garnishes.
Maintain freshness and quality of fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables.
Greet guests courteously.
Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes.
Verify proper identification of guests.
Detect and address guest inebriation appropriately.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including making change and recording charges.
Secure all beverage products, food, equipment, and cash deposits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area according to health and safety standards.
Arrange bottles and glassware attractively at the bar.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
