Title: Cocktail Server

Job Location: Brooklyn, NY 11249 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $17.00 Hourly

Position Summary: Cocktail servers take beverage orders, make recommendations, and process payments while providing excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner, acknowledging celebrations and special occasions.
Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage items.
Coordinate with bar staff to ensure beverage availability.
Accurately enter orders into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment procedures.
Maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage products served.
Upsell and offer food and beverage suggestions.
Comply with health codes, dress codes, and serving standards.
Check IDs thoroughly to ensure guests meet legal drinking age.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Sufficient mobility for tasks including reaching, bending, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work focused in a fast-paced environment.

Skills / Experience:

Must be at least 21 years old.
Minimum of two years’ cocktail serving experience in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle intoxicated guests positively and safely.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Valid Food Handler card required.
Team player attitude and helpfulness.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess at least two years of previous cocktail serving experience in a fast-paced environment. A valid Food Handler card is required, along with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks like reaching and bending.
