Title: Temp. A LA CARTE BARTENDER - On Call

Description: The A LA Carte Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guests' preferences.
Ensure accurate and efficient execution of drink orders, following established recipes and portion sizes.
Provide recommendations on drink selections, demonstrating knowledge of different beverages and mixology techniques.
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
Take and process drink orders promptly and accurately.
Engage in friendly conversation and provide attentive, personalized service.
Set up the bar area before service, ensuring availability of equipment, glassware, and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event.
Restock bar supplies as needed, including beverages, mixers, garnishes, and napkins.
Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of beverages.
Monitor guest behavior to comply with legal drinking age requirements and prevent over-service.
Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to supervisors.
Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
Extensive knowledge of beverage service and mixology techniques, including cocktail preparation.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills for cash handling and reconciliation.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash register operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift or carry heavy trays or supplies.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Professional appearance and grooming standards.
Responsible alcohol service certification may be required, depending on local regulations.

Candidates must have previous experience in a banquet or catering environment and possess extensive knowledge of mixology and beverage service. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
