Job Description
Title: Bartender
Overview: Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service at Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill! We are seeking friendly and upbeat individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and aim to deliver a quality customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with guests.
- Develop thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus and beverage recipes.
- Accurately ring up all food and beverage orders.
- Clean and sanitize workspaces and food/beverage surfaces according to restaurant protocols.
- Provide safe alcohol service through proper ID checks and identifying signs of intoxication.
- Manage the Good Food Rewards Program in accordance with company policy.
- Efficiently handle cash and credit card transactions during the guest checkout process.
- Communicate effectively with serving, kitchen, and management teams to ensure quality customer service.
- Mix cocktails following house recipes and correct liquor measurements.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with company policy and Health Department regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year bartending and/or cocktail mixing experience preferred.
- Enthusiasm for customer service and a guest-first mentality.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
