Job Title: Bartender

Position Overview: The Bartender ensures guests have an exceptional experience by providing fast, friendly service and attending to their needs.

Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding guest experiences through quality food, drinks, and entertainment in a fun atmosphere.
Maintain communication with supervisors about any issues and take corrective actions when necessary.
Create a warm, enjoyable environment for guests and team members.
Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures.
Accurately handle all financial transactions, including cash and credit card operations.
Follow alcohol service policies to prevent intoxication and manage intoxicated guests appropriately.
Monitor guest behavior and notify management when necessary.
Prepare drinks according to standard recipes to ensure consistency and cost control.
Keep the bar and station clean; set up and break down work areas properly.
Greet guests promptly and take accurate food and drink orders.
Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer guest questions.
Enter orders efficiently using the Micros POS system, ensuring accuracy.
Complete opening and closing duties, bar inventories, and daily requisition sheets.
Assist in party setup and breakdown, support other team members, and bus/reset tables as needed.
Follow the "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy to work efficiently.
Participate in promotions, contests, and incentives to drive sales.
Maintain positive working relationships with team members to promote a cooperative work environment.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to work days, nights, and weekends.
Experience in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
Preferred but not required: previous restaurant or bar experience.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be on feet for the entire shift.
Capable of working in varying temperatures and performing physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and sweeping.
Professional appearance adhering to dress code standards.

Salary Range: $5.50 - $5.50 per hour base pay (plus tips).
