POSITION SUMMARY Bartenders play a key role in turning guests into loyal fans by providing friendly service and guiding them through our food and beverage selections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide warm and friendly service from greeting to the end of the guest’s experience.
Have proficient menu knowledge and explain food, beverage options, promotions, Happy Hour specials, and upcoming events.
Prepare drinks according to Primanti Bros. recipes.
Ring up food and time deliveries according to guest requests.
Verify food accuracy after delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of bar area and practice pre-bussing.
Follow alcohol awareness procedures to verify age and prevent intoxication.
Handle payment transactions accurately.
Manage bar inventory, ensure POS balances.
Complete opening, shift change, and closing checklists, including cleaning tasks.
Perform other duties as requested.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to read and write English.
Good communication, friendly, and people-oriented.
Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask.
Basic math skills.
Certification in RAMP and/or TIPS as required by state law.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must stand for entire shift.
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and wiping.
Ability to operate POS, handle money and credit card transactions accurately.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent hand immersion in water.
