Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for serving guests alcoholic beverages during events while adhering to all policies and procedures related to alcohol dispensing. This position requires maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, verifying guest IDs, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

Serve alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes and company policies.
Complete accurate opening and closing inventory of products.
Ensure all bar equipment is clean and operational before events.
Arrange bottles in an attractive display behind the bar.
Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and surrounding areas.
Collect payments and reconcile cash at the end of events.
Recognize and address visibly intoxicated guests appropriately.
Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in the work area.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

Professional appearance and demeanor required.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with staff and guests.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, event-driven environment.
Noise levels are moderate to loud; environment may be smoke-filled.
Workplace under constant surveillance.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit as required by state and federal law.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bartending environment preferred.
Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math related to transactions and inventory.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team.
