Position Title: Bartender Department: Food and Beverage Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers, servers, and guest service representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Prepare and serve beverages to customers and staff.
Collect payments for beverages served.
Verify customer identification to ensure legal alcohol purchase.
Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
Balance cash receipts and bar register.
Monitor and limit issues related to excessive alcohol consumption.
Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, ice, glassware, napkins, and other supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and work area.
Assist colleagues as needed.
Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
Act as a cocktail server to gaming patrons.
Record liquor weight at the end of each shift.
Perform weekly inventory counts of liquor, wine, beer bottles, kegs, and supplies; report ordering needs to management.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Previous bartending experience required.
Certifications/Licenses: Must be able to obtain Gaming License, ABLE License, and Pawnee Nation Liquor License.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine correspondence; communicate effectively with employees, patrons, and management.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, especially related to money and measurements.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions and resolve routine problems.
Other Skills: Must maintain professional behavior and provide excellent customer and employee service; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing and walking.
Frequent bending or twisting of neck and trunk.
Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Continuous use of hand strength to grasp tools.
Occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds (e.g., crates, equipment, kegs).
Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Work Environment:

Moderate exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises.
Must be able to work all shifts, including holidays and special events.
Noise levels range from quiet to moderate, occasionally loud enough to require raising voice to communicate.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and previous bartending experience. The role requires the ability to obtain specific gaming and liquor licenses and the physical stamina to lift up to 100 pounds.
