Title: Bartender

Location: Cimarron Casino - Perkins, OK 74059

Summary: The Bartender assists the Food & Beverage Supervisor by ensuring all activities in the Food & Beverage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, following established policies and internal controls. The role requires delivering quality service in a courteous, professional manner, while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to guests.
Maintain expert knowledge of all beverages, including flavors, ingredients, alcohol percentages, and house recipes.
Serve as order taker and cashier for all beverage transactions at the bar.
Prepare beverage orders according to guests' specifications.
Follow correct pouring procedures for alcoholic beverages.
Replenish beverages as requested.
Monitor alcoholic beverage service and restrict guest consumption when necessary.
Perform cleaning and stocking duties as specified.
Maintain adequate stock of beverages, garnishes, cups, napkins, and other bar supplies.
Adhere to all regulatory, departmental, casino policies, and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Bartender also promotes a positive work environment by creating a fun atmosphere for guests, encouraging respect, dignity, and integrity among employees, facilitating open communication, and supporting employee training and development.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year bartending experience required; bartending school certificate preferred.
Must obtain an alcoholic beverage service license within 7 days of employment.
ServSafe Food Handlers Certification required within 90 days of employment.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience with applicable computer programs and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, procedure manuals, and respond to routine inquiries.
Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using American currency and measurements.
Ability to apply common sense and follow simple instructions.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, sit, and use hands.
Occasionally reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
Engage in repetitive wrist, finger, and hand motions.
Stand for long periods.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Moderate to loud noise levels.
Casino environment may be smoky.

Conditions of Employment:

Must be bondable and pass a background check to obtain a gaming license.
