Job Title: Bartender
Location: Diamondhead - Tahlequah, OK 74464 Position Type: Seasonal Salary: $6.00 per hour Shift: Any
Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages and food items in a fast-paced, seasonal bar and grill environment. This role helps create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring responsible alcohol service and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The Bartender reports to the Bar and Grill Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly customer service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take food and drink orders and process payments accurately
- Check IDs and follow alcohol service laws and policies
- Keep the bar area clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work with team members to ensure fast and efficient service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Notify management when inventory or supplies are low
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of Oklahoma liquor laws preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and team-oriented attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server’s Certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages, kegs, and supplies)
- Comfortable working in outdoor or semi-outdoor settings during peak season
- Must be able to work nights and/or weekends as needed
