About Us: McNellie's is an Irish-style pub serving classic homemade pub fare. With 60 beers on tap and over 250 in cans and bottles, it offers one of the largest beer selections in the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, wines, and beer.
- Provide recommendations to guests on liquor, beer, and wine.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including stocking supplies to ensure the bar is prepared for service.
- Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and serve responsibly.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payments with accuracy.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and positive manner to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all local and state alcohol laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wines, beer, and spirits.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Must have an ABLE license, alcohol safety training, and food handler permit.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
