Title: Bartender at Mt Hood Brewing Company

The Mt Hood Brewing Company, established in 1991, is located at the gateway to Mt. Hood in Government Camp, Oregon. Our brewpub offers hearty après-ski snacks, Oregon-inspired comfort food and cocktails, with many vegetarian options that pair well with our beers.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve drinks and food, ensuring the bar area is fully stocked.
Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in compliance with Health Department standards.
Follow proper cash handling procedures according to company policy.
Complete and route daily reports, including IDT sheets, spoilage sheets, and invoices.
Maintain prep and par stock levels according to projected business needs.
Monitor security of the premises, including checking doors, windows, and observing employees and customers.
Clean and organize storage areas, loading dock, walk-in coolers, freezers, and bottle sorting areas.
Ensure timely receipt and proper storage of goods.
Alert supervisors or managers of any maintenance concerns.
Participate in the company's Health & Safety Program by reporting hazards and promoting a healthy workplace.
Support sustainability efforts by reducing, reusing, and recycling when possible.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements:

Service-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with knowledge of menu offerings.
Proficient in up-selling products and services.
Use proper etiquette when interacting with guests.
Follow all service and reservation procedures.
Valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permits required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexible and capable of bending, twisting, and kneeling.
Able to work in tight spaces with balance and poise.
Stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
Meet the pace demands of the position.
