Job Description
Title: Barback
We are seeking a high-energy, proactive Barback to support our bartenders during the busiest weekend night shifts. If you work well under pressure, stay organized, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we'd like to meet you.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay: Hourly rate plus nightly tip-out from the bar
- Shifts: Friday and Saturday nights
- Hours: 9pm to 3am
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly restock glassware, ice, spirits, and garnishes to ensure bartenders never stop pouring
- Change kegs quickly and safely during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing glassware, wiping spills, and keeping the bar tidy
- Prepare garnishes and assist with basic bar prep as needed
- Handle heavy lifting including moving cases of beer and liquor, and managing trash and recycling
Requirements:
- Valid OLCC permit, active and available before your first shift
- Physical stamina to stand for 6+ hours and lift kegs up to 50 lbs
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to handle all tasks and anticipate needs
- Reliable and punctual, especially important for high-volume weekend shifts
