Grounded Table is a wine country restaurant and pub located in historic downtown McMinnville, Oregon. **JOB SUMMARY:** Create connections and craft cocktails while delivering distinctive guest experiences. As a bartender, you will prepare and serve inspired drinks with expertise and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks
Assess guests’ needs and preferences, making recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Maintain guest focus and nurture excellent guest experiences
Keep the bar clean, organized, and compliant with food and beverage regulations

**REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:**

Proficiency with computerized Point of Sale systems
Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
Knowledge of proper operation of bar equipment
Understanding of applicable liquor laws and regulations
Familiarity with standard cash handling procedures
Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

Minimum of one year of related education, training, or experience
Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer service focus
Ability to learn bar or restaurant cash register software
Positive attitude and professionalism
