Role Description

Bartenders interact with guests to ensure a great experience when dining at the resort. Responsibilities include mixing and serving beverages accurately and efficiently, maintaining positive guest interactions, and making guests feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed.

This is a part-time seasonal role available from mid-May through September. Shifts are daily: 10:00am–6:00pm (pool bartender), 8:00am–3:30pm or 4:00pm–10:00pm (restaurant). Pay is $15.00/hour plus tips.

General Responsibilities

Adhere to all OLCC and in-house alcohol service policies
Mix drinks, cocktails, and bar beverages according to company standards
Work in various outlets including restaurants, pools, and outdoor events
Check guest identification to verify age for alcohol purchase
Handle assigned house bank and follow cash handling procedures
Ensure the bar area is fully equipped and prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed
Serve snacks or food to guests at the bar when appropriate
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food, beverage products, menus, and promotions
Maintain an organized, sanitary, and safe workspace
Provide guidance to guests on resort activities, dining options, and local information
Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years bartending experience
Excellent oral communication skills
Positive interpersonal skills
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
Ability to obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire (cost reimbursed)
OLCC Certification required
