Title: Bartender - Archer Music Hall

Position Overview: As a bartender at Archer Music Hall, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with guests in a friendly and natural manner
Cultivate regular guests and encourage repeat business
Successfully complete a pour test prior to every shift when required
Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
Deliver food and beverage orders promptly
Prioritize and organize drink orders
Prepare beverages consistently according to recipes and standards
Record equipment failures and safety hazards
Monitor guests for intoxication and refuse service courteously when necessary, notifying management
Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and company policies
Verify identification for guests appearing under 30 years old
Maintain safety and sanitation standards
Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to policy
Handle guest checks and payment processing
Maintain bartender cash bank and complete cash pull/check-out procedures
Maintain records of complimentary items and spills
Occasionally work special events scheduled at the venue

Qualifications: Required:

Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours
Cash handling experience
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper techniques
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Physically able to pass a pour test and timed mixology drill
Ability to manage intoxicated guests positively and safely
Respect for all cultures, music, and art forms
Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent

Preferred:

4 years of experience in a high-volume environment
Experience recognizing valid IDs
Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Fast-paced, often loud and stressful work environment
Extended periods of standing
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
