Location: ArtsQuest - Bethlehem, PA

Pay Range: $11.00 per hour

Job Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while complying with all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to liquor laws related to serving alcoholic beverages, especially regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars and stock all necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice, and condiments.
Maintain stock and prepare fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure quality.
Greet guests courteously and take/process drink orders.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes with proper portion control.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
Detect and respond to guest inebriation appropriately.
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, and ensure proper recording.
Secure products, equipment, cash drops, and deposits by locking up at close.
Perform general cleaning and maintain an organized work area following health and safety standards.
Arrange bottles and glasses for an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to detect guest inebriation and verify proper identification in compliance with laws.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow standard ingredient recipes accurately.
