Job Summary: As a Bartender, you will maintain beverage control, ensure accurate pouring and serving, and keep the bar area clean and organized. Providing exceptional service in line with club standards, you will consistently uphold the 3-steps of service to enhance the member and guest experience.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the food and beverage training program.
Assist with food and beverage service to members and guests at the bar.
Know members’ names, greet promptly, and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Accurately execute member and guest orders in a timely manner.
Address and resolve complaints professionally, notifying management and practicing effective service recovery.
Prepare and stock the bar area before each shift, including bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar, including regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work to meet club standards.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu, daily features, and specials.
Manage liquor inventory responsibly, ensuring accurate pouring and beverage control.
Support team members and foster a positive work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Participate actively in team efforts and daily briefings.

Additional Duties:

Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks.
Follow all company, club, and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
Adhere to safe working practices.
Take initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain necessary certifications.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness preferred.
Previous food and beverage service experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Strong ethical work standards.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
Basic bar and wine knowledge, including cocktails and wine varietals.
Ability to properly open wine bottles.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Work in varying temperatures and environments.
Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, bending.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing.

Work Schedule:

Attendance as outlined in the weekly schedule.
Additional hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
