Title: Bistro Bartender - Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln

We are currently looking for a Bistro Server and Bartender to join our team at the Courtyard® by Marriott Providence Lincoln. Located minutes from Twin River Casino, Bryant University, and Kirkbrae Country Club, and only 9 miles from Downtown Providence, our hotel features 129 guest rooms and an onsite Bistro Restaurant & Bar offering healthy breakfasts, Starbucks® products, and evening dining with a full bar. The Courtyard by Marriott is one of 50 hotel properties managed by the award-winning Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Responsibilities include:

Welcoming guests, taking orders, processing payments through the POS system.
Preparing food, coffee, and beverages to company and brand standards, including alcoholic drinks.
Setting up the bar for service, preparing drink orders, following state and local alcohol service laws responsibly.
Completing closing duties and maintaining cleanliness of the bar and cooler areas.
Assisting in food and beverage areas, including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils, resetting tables, delivering food to guests, and general cleaning of prep areas and the lobby.

Typical shifts: Sundays and Mondays from 4:30 PM to 11 PM, with additional coverage as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in hotel food and beverage or restaurant environments preferred.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to understand company guidelines and guest service practices.
Computer skills including intranet, property management systems, Word, and Excel strongly preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
