Title: Bartender
Carlisles Restaurant & Lounge, located within Hotel Everett in Winnsboro, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join our team. We are a refined, upscale dining destination known for elevated Southern cuisine, a curated cocktail program, and exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview: As a Bartender at Carlisles, you will be responsible for delivering a sophisticated bar experience while maintaining efficiency and consistency. You will play a key role in shaping guest impressions through both beverage quality and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails with precision and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to guests at the bar and lounge
- Develop a strong understanding of our menu, wine list, and spirits selection
- Engage with guests in a professional, personable manner
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
- Assist in maintaining inventory and notifying management of shortages
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience required (fine dining or upscale bar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
