**Job Summary:** The Bartender attends to the service needs of club patrons in the bar area including food and beverage service. They maintain the stock and cleanliness of the bar area.

**Essential Job Functions:**

Complete Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adhere to related policies.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using proper measures.
Verify customers’ identification to confirm legal drinking age.
Accurately record drink and food orders into the register system and process payments.
Take food orders and deliver them to bar patrons.
Maintain bar stock and cleanliness, arranging bottles and glasses attractively and functionally.
Clean glasses, utensils, and equipment according to company guidelines and health regulations.
Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks/appetizers.
Communicate low stock items to the food and beverage manager.
Follow closing and duty checklists.
Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to management.
Limit risks related to customers’ excessive drinking by following company procedures.
Maintain a service- and solution-oriented attitude with positive interactions with staff and guests.
Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Ensure regular and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts.

**Requirements:**

Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in food service or bartending preferred.
Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training and/or certification required.
Ability to deliver high-level customer service under pressure.
Good oral communication skills.
Basic math skills including liquid measurements and making change.

**Physical Requirements:**

Seeing and hearing: 25-75% of the time.
Standing and walking: 25-100% of the time.
Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling: 24-50% of the time.
Dexterity (using phone, typing, writing): 0-24% of the time.
Ability to lift over 25 pounds: 0-24% of the time.
