Job Description
Title: Bartender
Location: Clarksville, TN 37040 Position Type: Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Greet guests promptly, create a welcoming atmosphere, and provide attentive service.
- Accurately process guest orders using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, food offerings, promotions, and local specials.
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and comply with all alcohol service laws.
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking throughout the shift.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and cash handling procedures.
- Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all Hilton brand standards, safety guidelines, and sanitation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous bartending experience preferred, especially in hotels or high-volume environments.
- Must obtain and maintain ABC alcohol certification as required by the State of Tennessee.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
