Job Description
Job Summary: A Bartender at Mellow Mushroom is responsible for providing an exceptional experience to all guests. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling a variety of duties. Effective communication with guests is essential to ensure the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests as they arrive
- Assist guests with online orders
- Take orders, provide recommendations, and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
- Clear and reset tables for the next guests
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a high level of urgency throughout the shift
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years bartending experience preferred
- Previous restaurant bartending experience preferred
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Must be 21 years or older
