Title: Cocktail Server - Hotel Paso Del Norte - El Paso, TX

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a part-time Cocktail Server for The Hotel Paso Del Norte in El Paso, Texas.

Hourly Pay: $5.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role: As a Cocktail Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to guests in a vibrant and upscale environment. You will provide a memorable dining and drinking experience by serving a variety of cocktails and beverages with professionalism and flair. Maintaining thorough knowledge of the drink menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, is essential to effectively recommend options to guests. Additionally, you will ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, contributing to the overall hotel ambiance. Your efforts will enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a serving or bartending role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in bartending or mixology.
Experience in a high-volume hospitality environment.
Experience with Marriott or Forbes standards.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take drink orders and serve cocktails and beverages promptly and accurately.
Maintain knowledge of the cocktail menu and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
Handle cash and process payments accurately while adhering to hotel policies.
Complete other duties as assigned, such as assisting security with disorderly guests.
Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations, ensuring alcoholic beverages are not served to minors or intoxicated guests.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong communication skills for guest interaction.
Attention to detail in drink preparation and order management.
Effective time management to serve multiple tables efficiently.
Knowledge of mixology and beverage trends.
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Familiarity with table settings, serviceware, and menu items.
Ability to read and understand menus, promotions, and communicate in English.
Physical ability to carry trays up to 10 lbs.
Ability to operate beverage equipment and point of sale systems.
Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
