Job Description
Title: Bartender
Accountable for crafting beverages and assisting guests in making beverage and food selections. Provide guests with prompt and friendly service while creating classic and innovative drinks that exceed guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to company recipes.
- Deliver a consistently high level of guest service.
- Engage with multiple guests, prioritizing interactions and providing outstanding service.
- Demonstrate mastery of the food and beverage menu; respond to questions about menu items and drink options.
- Use a genuine sales approach; recommend popular menu items and suggest additional plates and drink pairings.
- Adhere to all company guidelines and standards for serving alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift and account for any discrepancies.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous bartender experience preferred or minimum 1 year in food service/hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and beverages.
- Previous point of sale system experience recommended.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Availability to work variable schedules including weekends and late nights.
- Ability to stand frequently, bend/kneel, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
