Title: Bartender

Description: The Bartender at Sorelle is responsible for preparing, selling, and serving mixed beverages, wine, and food. As the primary contact for guests in the bar, the Bartender ensures professional, courteous, and efficient service. Key duties include bar maintenance, inventory management, making menu suggestions, delivering food and drinks, describing dishes and wine selections, and monitoring guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Adhere to Sorelle's Service, Food, Beverage, and Wine manuals.
Oversee and assist the front of house team, taking ownership of the bar and guest experience.
Collaborate with other Bartenders, sommeliers, and managers to facilitate smooth service.
Communicate menu changes, daily additions, and VIP procedures to guests and management.
Provide continuous training on spirits and cocktails to the service team.
Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items.
Take and prepare beverage and food orders, ensuring proper setup and service.
Maintain clear communication between front and back of house teams.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized bar environment at all times.
Develop rapport with guests and respond to their inquiries about the menu, wine list, and specials.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3-4 years of fine dining mixology experience.
At least 2 years of dining room experience with knowledge of fine dining procedures.
Extensive knowledge of food, wine, and mixology.
Must meet the legal minimum age to serve alcohol.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong dedication to learning and motivation to excel in a fine dining environment.
Excellent basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Impeccable grooming, good hygiene, and adherence to uniform standards.
Ability to accept and respond to constructive feedback.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work indoors in moderate to extreme temperatures (freezers to kitchens).
Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift trays up to 30 lbs and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs.
Capability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, crouching, and repetitive motions.
Continuous communication skills, visual acuity, and manual dexterity are required.
