Title: Bartender FT - LBB Airport

Job Description:

SSP America operates multiple locations at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport. Our bartenders enjoy engaging with guests while serving hand-crafted beverages and delicious food. They stay up-to-date on trends in the alcoholic beverage industry and have experience crafting drinks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner
Use recipes and practice portion control to mix, garnish, and present drinks
Input orders into the point of sale register and create checks for guests
Handle cash transactions, make change, verify charges, and process vouchers properly
Maintain proper and adequate bar setup at all times
Manage stock, and prepare and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests
Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

Previous bartending experience required
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and alcoholic beverage service
Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders
Basic math skills to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, manage cash drops, and understand weights and measurements
Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items
Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures including pre-check, order entry, and closing checks
Ability to work and stand in confined spaces for long periods
