Bartender Lead
Job Description: Provide exceptional customer service from the moment guests sit down until they leave. Display outstanding hospitality, friendliness, and comprehensive food and beverage knowledge. Responsible for money handling, beverage pouring, and dispensing policies, as well as providing servers with drinks at the service well.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify patrons' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements and follow safe drinking guidelines.
- Prepare bar setup and assist in the breakdown of bar equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory of beer, liquor, wine, cups, mixers, sodas, and other bar supplies.
- Handle cash sales accurately and close out checks upon payment.
- Maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor while on duty.
- Inventory all items before and after events and complete bar paperwork.
- Calculate cash at shift end and return bank to the cash room.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two years full-service bartending experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of mixed drink recipes and POS systems.
- TIPS certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on customer service and basic math skills.
- Ability to pour mixed drinks and draft beer.
- Must be 18 years or older to ring alcoholic sales.
Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
