Title: F&B Bar Manager

Our Bar Manager oversees the Coffee Shop and three bars throughout the property. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, monitoring productivity, and providing feedback to ensure excellent customer experiences. The manager is also responsible for managing budgets, including expenses, sales, and profit margins, as well as tracking and maintaining inventory to ensure supplies are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruiting, hiring, training, and managing employees
Creating employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage
Resolving conflicts and supporting a positive customer experience
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol service, safety, and food handling
Monitoring daily operations, including cash handling and restocking
Maintaining inventory and ordering alcohol and supplies
Initiating and maintaining vendor relationships
Creating bar menus for three bars and special events

Qualifications:

Previous experience in bar or restaurant beverage programs
One to two years of bartending experience recommended
Basic written and verbal communication skills
Completion of state alcohol training preferred
Current Food Manager certification required by state law
Experience with classic cocktails, basic wine and beer programs, and standard preparation procedures
Familiarity with industry best practices
Ability to work effectively as a team member
Ability to follow directions and instructions
Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Flexibility in work schedule
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather, noise, and with hazardous materials

Requirements: Candidates must have prior experience in beverage programs and hold a Food Manager certification. Proficiency in classic cocktails, wine, and beer is expected. The role requires the ability to meet physical demands in an active outdoor environment.
