Purpose: The Bartender welcomes guests, accurately takes food and beverage orders, and ensures timely delivery to guest satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide accurate information on menu items, pricing, and allergens
Cultivate regular guests and repeat business
Enter orders into POS promptly and accurately
Serve food and drinks promptly according to specifications
Replenish stock during shifts
Move furniture as directed
Verify guest age (21+) before serving alcohol
Provide timely service to food servers
Follow precise drink recipes
Organize and prioritize service
Address guest concerns and escalate when necessary
Comply with all safety, health, and liquor laws
Maintain sanitation and safety standards
Process guest payments accurately
Ensure accurate cash handling and documentation
Perform nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties
Report equipment failures or safety hazards
Rotate liquor, beer, wine, and consumables properly
Keep bar area clean throughout shift
Monitor and manage intoxicated or disruptive guests responsibly
Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma preferred
Eligibility to work in the United States
Valid driver's license
At least 21 years of age
Ability to obtain state-required work cards
Minimum two years related experience
Experience with POS systems
Strong knowledge of beer and spirits
Proper lifting techniques
Excellent guest relations
Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
Safe alcohol service practices
Experience in full-service restaurant operations
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Working Conditions:

Work indoors and outdoors, exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
Environment with varying noise, crowds, and smoke depending on guest volume
Fast-paced, high-volume full-service restaurant
Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk and stand for long periods
Use hands for handling objects, tools, and controls
Repeat movements for extended times
Understand and communicate clearly
Ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
