The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef, and a food trailer. Today, we operate restaurants nationwide.
Here’s what we need: We’re looking for outgoing and friendly Bartenders to ensure a Damn Good experience for every guest. Bartenders provide a full-service dining experience, including menu knowledge and cocktail preparation that follows Torchy’s recipes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchy’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
- Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Service Excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience preferred.
- Current state alcohol-server license required (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
- Available for varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods.
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects at various heights.
