Job Description
Title: Centre Bar Bartender
Overview: A structured Bartender role is critical to assist all beverage staff in the daily Food & Beverage operation of River Cree Resort & Casino. Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the Bartender is responsible for receiving and preparing drink orders efficiently and timely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drink orders.
- Open the bar with appropriate supplies.
- Handle cash transactions including receiving money and giving change.
- Use Micros POS system.
- Clean the bar at the end of the night.
- Perform cash closing procedures.
- Work in other Food & Beverage outlets as directed by Management.
- Ensure personal and coworker safety by following all Health and Safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume bartending experience.
- AGLC Proserve/Protect certification preferred.
- Good communication skills to understand tasks and handle guest concerns.
- Physical ability to carry loads up to 25 lbs and move trays smoothly across the floor.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Good health and personal hygiene.
- Interest in learning about food and beverage service.
- Cheerful, positive attitude.
- Able to work well within a team.
- Flexible availability to work shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
